The scaling carries over to most applications except some that simply don't (MPC-HC's buttons for example are still tiny). The most asinine part about this (aside from BnS not supporting fullscreen in general, despite 99% of PC games operating in fullscreen since before MS-DOS) is that I can't even use windows UI scaling - in that mode, my desktop is 1440p but the windows UI treats itself as 720p and scales itself up. After I alt-enter I can change the in-game resolution to anything and nothing will change at all. 720p is a direct multiple of 1440p so things are more or less crisp (re: text) despite being lower res.īnS absolutely insists on running at 720p unless I actually set my desktop res at 1440p (which means everything is small as hell when I tab out mid-game, and the hassle of changing my resolution every time I start the game).
I run my desktop at 720p (or use windows UI scaling at 200%) because everything is obviously small as hell on a 27' at 1440p.
